With a generous $34,000 grant from The Hartford, Youth Challenge has recently added a “kayak-load” of adaptive outdoor sports equipment to our collection. We’re unveiling this equipment with The Hartford and Move United at our Outdoor Adventure Sports “Try It” event on May 4, 2022 from 4:30 – 6:30 PM at Wallace Lake in Berea.
All attendees will have the opportunity to join in the adventure, trying out handcycles, taking a peek at our new adapted kayaks, or taking a short hike a one-wheeled adapted hiking chair. Plus, representatives from YC, The Hartford, and Move United will be in attendance to talk about the equipment and how it will impact young people at Youth Challenge

The YC golf outing has transformed into a Topgolf experience that’s fun for the most experienced golfer to the novice picking up a club for the first time. The event will include multiple rounds of driving range style golf, food, and fun, all to support Youth Challenge’s mission.
