Sarah Perez-Stable is the Director of Program & Volunteer Services. She is responsible for the oversight of all YC programming as well as the enrichment of YC’s 400+ teen volunteers, adult volunteers, and school and community groups who assist at year-round programs. Sarah works to recruit, train, pair, supervise, and recognize the compassionate and dedicated volunteers who serve as the heart and soul of Youth Challenge. Along with other program staff, Sarah plans and implements YC programming and assists participants with personal needs. She is also responsible for participant outreach, program development, and ensuring the continued quality of Youth Challenge activities.
Sarah is a former Youth Challenge volunteer herself, having assisted at programs while a student at Magnificat High School, and has been a member of the YC staff since the fall of 2005. She is an ’05 graduate of the University of Notre Dame and received her B.A. in English and Anthropology. She is a proud member of the Forum of Volunteer Administrators and serves on FVA’s Board as the Communications Committee Co-Chair. She was also the 2016 recipient of the FVA Volunteer Administrator of the Year Award.
