She has a B.A. in Mental Health/Human Services and French from Franciscan University, and studied Clinical Psychology at the University of Dayton, which led to her becoming a licensed social worker. Her diverse work experience includes graduate research and teaching assistant, child & family therapist, runaway shelter counselor, crisis nursery program manager, HR generalist, and substitute teacher. A native Clevelander, Sharon now resides in Rocky River with her husband, Dan. She has also enjoyed living in Dayton, Michigan, Boston & the Netherlands. Her daughters, Zoe and Lucy, were active volunteers throughout middle school and high school.
